Centre based Food Relief
Every Thursday from 10am to 2pm you will find the team providing community food relief at Manningham Christian Centre.
We provide pantry items, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen products, cleaning and hygiene supplies, baby items and pet supplies.
Our main entrance is right next to the loading bay of Templestowe IGA, inside Templestowe Village. Enter from James Street.
We have two eligibility criteria:
- Community members seeking assistance are asked to confirm that they are experiencing financial hardship.
- Community members seeking assistance need to live in Manningham* or be experiencing homelessness.
- Please bring proof of address (eg. licence or bill in your name)
CareNet asks each client who attends their centre based program to provide $5 each time they come.
Bookings are required. Please use the links below.
CareNet’s “What to expect when you visit” brochure can be downloaded here.
* Due to funding changes we are unable to support families in Banyule and Nillumbik as of 1st of Feb 2026.
Booking link update:

A quicker option for when appointments fill up or if you need a faster visit. Items are pre-packed, but you’ll receive the same generous amount of food.
