Who We Are

CareNet provides food relief to community members who are experiencing hardship. We facilitate a number of innovative food relief programs to increase food accessibility to Manningham and the surrounding areas.

Our programs include:

  • CareNet's centre based food relief program, 10am to 2pm every Tuesday. Located at Manningham Christian Centre, 143 Parker St, Templestowe. The main entrance is right next to Templestowe IGA. No appointment necessary for your first visit.

  • The Mobile Pantry can be found at

    • Pentecost Church every Thursday between 2:30pm and 4:30pm

    • Gum Nut Preschool, in the car park, hosted by Chapel Life, every second Monday 9:30am to 10:30am

  • the Satellite Pantry Network. This is a system of community pantries, located in discreet area's around the Manningham community. Each pantry is accessible to the community 24hrs a day, 7 days a week and supported by a wonderful community partner and network of volunteers. These pantries operate on a "take what you need and give when you can" principle. The pantries are currently located at:

    • Warrandyte Neighbourhood House, on the deck. (Available 24/7)

    • Wonga Park Community Cottage, inside. (Available during their business hours).
